 Noramix Trade AS, owners of srilanka.com conducted a competition on their website early last year to generate interest in Sri Lanka as a tourist destination.
It was called "Win Your Exotic Holiday" contest and the winner was the participant who submitted the best slogan for the website. Srilankan Airlines provided two economy class return air tickets and Hemtours provided a Holiday Package for two to the winner.
Recently the winner of this competition, Ms. Nayana Mulligan from Ireland, arrived in Sri Lanka with her husband for a week's stay courtesy of the joint sponsors. Ms. Mulligan who has not been to her homeland in 13 years was born in Sri Lanka.
